The Comeback
We're back? We're back.
There are 302 days left in the year. Starting in two days, I’ll be writing something everyday for three hundred days in a row.
This is for me. I know it will push me and make me better. I hope you get some value from this, but if you're not interested in reading my ramblings, feel free to unsubscribe.
The first step to change is being fed up with your current results. To be honest, I've been struggling recently with my work. I know I can do more and do better. I'm not productive, and I know deep down that my ceiling is so much higher than the present results I'm delivering.
You have to be honest with yourself. And that's one of the hardest things to do in life. I think we all are good at lying to ourselves and making excuses to justify present results; god bless you if you don't; let me know how you do it.
The desire to start writing again for me stems from the fact that I know it's good for me, I have the time, and yet I don't do it.
2024 is the year of no excuses.
A phrase I've been chewing on recently that came up in my mind during a run was "All in or don't even try." And that's not just how I feel about my training, but also The Running Effect this year.
Cheers to three hundred days of this thing. I'm excited to see the twists and turns it brings.
Ad Astra Per Aspera,
Dom
